Recipe Baking: SIMPLE STEAK SOUP
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 (1 lb. size) cans stewed tomatoes
2 (8 oz. size) cans tomato sauce
6 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed
vegetables
1 box (2 env.) Lipton
onion soup mix
2 tsp. sugar
Brown and drain meat. Add all ingredients and simmer on low about 1 hour
(can be frozen).

1 lb. ground sirloin
1 med. chopped onion
1 stalk diced celery
1 box frozen mixed vegetables
4 oz. tomato paste (add to taste)
1 can beef consomme
4 tbsp. flour mixed with 3 c. water
Brown beef in skillet. Lightly saute onions and celery. Drain off fat.
Add other ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
