Recipe Baking: OLD FASHIONED CUBED STEAK
4 cubed steaks
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can cream style corn
Salt
Pepper
Fry cubed steak on both sides 15 minutes each. Pour can of corn and can
of tomatoes over meat already salt and peppered. Turn down and simmer
for 1/2 hour. Serve and pour corn and tomatoes mixture over meat or on
mashed potatoes.

OLD FASHIONED CUBED STEAK
1 1/2 lbs. cubed steak
Salt and pepper
Flour
Vegetable oil
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. water
2 Wielder's beef flavor bouillon cubes
or 2 tsp. instant bouillon
1 med. onion, sliced
Sprinkle steak lightly with salt and pepper; coat with flour. In large skillet, brown steak in hot oil; remove from skillet. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons fat. Stir in 1/4 cup flour; cook and stir until flour browns. Stir in water and bouillon; stir until bouillon dissolves. Add onion and meat. Cover; simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
