Recipe Baking: FLANK STEAK TERIYAKI
1 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce
1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 lb. flank steak
Combine ingredients and pour over flank steak. Marinate 4 hours or more,
turning once. Grill over charcoal or broil turning once. Be careful not
to overcook. Slice in thin slices, cutting on diagonal across grain.
Basting sauce can be doubled. Heat chicken slightly with cornstarch.
Serve over rice. 4-6 servings.

SALISBURY
STEAK, ONION GRAVY
1
(10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's condensed
onion soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
In bowl, combine 1/3 cup soup with beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties; pour off fat.
Gradually blend remaining ingredients; stir to loosen browned bits.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.
