   Recipe Baking: STEAK MARINADE

  1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1/4 c. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 sliced onion

After at least several hours, take meat out of the marinade and brown lightly on both sides in a skillet or on a grill. 1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
3 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c.
hot water
1 (7 oz.) can mushroom stems and
pieces with juice

Heat mixture until onions are tender and then thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Pour this mixture over cooked rice and serve with the steak.

                     SALISBURY STEAK, ONION GRAVY

 1 (10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's condensed
onion soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

In bowl, combine 1/3 cup soup with beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties; pour off fat. Gradually blend remaining ingredients; stir to loosen browned bits. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
